Our Coaches

Peter Wellings 

Peter is an ECB Level III coach and a former Middlesex player has shown tremendous results in running programs aimed towards providing top quality coaching to children of all ages and abilities. Peter has been a full-time professional cricket coach for 20 years since leaving Middlesex CCC in 1997. Having coached around the world in 12 different countries including living in India, South Africa, and Australia, Peter has a passion for cricket rarely seen.  Peter’s playing career also includes captaining the Minor Counties U25 XI, Middlesex Cricket Board and Middlesex League representative side, and he has also represented the England Amateur XI on eight occasions.

Jaskaran Malhotra



Jaskaran Malhotra, a prominent wicket keeper-batsman started his cricket career in India, representing Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association for U15, U17, U19 and U22. He was the Captain of his team for U17 team and was the highest run-getter in the tournament. His experience also includes playing Ranji Trophy games in the Syed Mustaq Ali T20 Trophy. 

During his career in India, Jaskaran trained in National Cricket Academy Bangalore for the India-U19 camp as well as Zonal Cricket Academy Dharamshala - both under the captaincy of current Indian Captain Virat Kohli.  Jaskaran also had the privilege of attending the Mumbai Indians (IPL) camp as a shortlisted player.

In 2016, Jaskaran immigrated to USA and has been playing and coaching for various cricket franchises and academies throughout the country. Jaskaran currently represents Team-USA as well as St Lucia Stars in the Caribbean Premier League.

Amir Saddique


Coach Amir Saddique a highly recognized professional Cricket, Baseball, Handball and Track & Field coach. Coach Amir brings his vast sporting knowledge and experience to our coaching team. Coach Amir has earned his credits under the High-Performance Coaching Courses with the ICC, IPL and Indian and Bangladesh premier leagues. He is known for his contribution towards the growth American College Cricket and currently served as one of the regional coaches for the International Cricket Council as well as the USA U19 national team. Coach Amir currently lives in Houston and serves as the coaching our Academy.
Gaurav Tripathi


Gaurav is ICC Level 1 Coach, who began playing cricket in Mumbai, India, where he represented his engineering college cricket team. In 2004 his education endeavors brought him to the USA where he was the captain of the cricket team at Cleveland State University (Ohio).

In 2007 he moved to Houston, and has since been representing the Houston Indian Cricket Club (HICC) in the Houston Cricket League.  As a batsman (who can bowl), Gaurav has been part of multiple championship winning teams with HICC. Gaurav is currently the Secretary of Houston Cricket League and has been actively involved in promoting youth cricket. 

Richard Coates


Richard Coates has played cricket for more than 40 years, at various times both opening the batting and the bowling as a right-arm seam bowler. In his youth he played county school-boy cricket at under-15 and under-17 before going on to captain his college team, and play Varity 2nd-XI cricket at Cambridge University. After leaving University he played club cricket in the Cambridgeshire Senior League, before moving to the USA. Here he played cricket for the Mad Dogs Cricket Club in Connecticut (where he helped the ‘Dogs win the 2003 Philadelphia International Cricket Festival) and later the Colonial Cavaliers of Boston, MA.
 
Richard has a Ph.D in Geophysics and is currently Research Manager in the Oil & Gas Industry.
